Black Metal. Crown of Beasts is an massive release from the Brazilian duo Cruor Cultum with its thicker than oat porridge soundscape. It takes a lot from old Emperor with the razorsharp riffs, smattering drums and heavy use of keyboards, all together in a beautiful symbiosis that enhances the enchanted nailbiting atmosphere that this dark gleaming gem delivers. Its an grand bombastic opus that takes you through great old chambers to narrow spruce forests and beyond.
